I've always loved Martha Cooper's work and how she has had such a crazy impact on Hip Hop culture photography. Plain and simple when I think of the Golden Era and the foundation of hip hop I automatically think of Cooper's "Hip Hop Files". By all means she should go down in the Hip Hop Hall of Fame for exposing the true essence of genre in its early stages. Check out the clip and see how humble she views her work. MOCA Los Angles Presents: Art in the Street

The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles will be presenting an exhibition called Art in the Streets. The first of its kind in the U.S., the exhibition will trace the history and development of graffiti and street art from the 1970s to present day. Installations and works by more than 50 of the world’s most dynamic street artists will be on display including pieces by Fab 5 Freddy, Lee Quiñones, Futura, Margaret Kilgallen, Swoon, RISK, Shepard Fairey, John-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, JR and Mister Cartoon. Emphasis will also be placed on photographers and filmmakers who documented graffiti and street art culture including Spike Jonze, Terry Richardson, Martha Cooper and Ed Templeton.
