Time to unwind

I won't even try to make any excuses! I've been busy - let's leave it at that.
However, Summer is here - it officially struck yesterday - and with that came 2 weeks of well-deserved break time.
On Saturday we hit up the Beaches' Rib Fest which takes place annually at Woodbine Park and aside from the abundance of celebratory drinks - we have a visitor from good ol' VIE staying with us - we were able to sample some very delicious Southern ribs (once again, no offence to all you non-meat eaters!).

'Southern Style'

'Cornbread and beans are good, but bones are better!'

The Beast was there!

'Something's brewering up there! And it ain't a beer!'

'Sometimes a man needs to carry/drag his woman around'

'He's a true ladies man'

'Smile till I dig in my bag'

'The Visitor'

'Vintage moment with the MAN'

Montreal trip in 2 days. But first a Kensington Stop.
See ya then!

It happens to be at the world renowned Hawleywoods Barbershop in Southern California and their process is an immaculate perfection piece. Hope y'all enjoy the clip and 'score' as much as I did. Let's keep the LRG dream alive. Out!

Soul Assassins Presents: ALCHEMIST

A day in the life with one of my favourite producers, Alchemist, holding it down for the westside of L.A. I've always been down with the dude, I've got all of his instrumental LP's, mixtapes, and a crap load of his produced singles. Without a doubt he has kept his unique style, flipping beats and working with artists that matter! Enjoy the clip.

Big Shout to Blackout Hip Hop on the clip.

Got That Eye: Patrick Martinez Presents: "LA Sign Language"

Gotta give it up to Martinez on his latest creation, LA Sign Language for it's messages and focus on spreading the word through art and not to mention an amazing score. If the sights don't make you watch it over and over, Herb Albert's "Rise" will! Enjoy my friends.

LRG Presents: Artist Driven - Free Revok

It is crazy to me to see artists going to jail for their passion. When someone has a passion for life and expresses it through art, it's very special and should never ever ever be shunned or made to feel illegal. Shame on mainstream society! We can accept all of the MTV bullcrap, but never Graffiti. Graffiti is the purest art form and is put on the street for everyone to enjoy. These losers in society make money off of persecuting artists for their own benefit: Shame on you, you have bad karma coming your way and I personally hope it stings you right in the ass. Prisons are for murderers and rapists NOT artists! Free Revok and enjoy LRG's continuous promotion of a free art form.

Check out more of Revok here

Gasface Presents: New York Minute Ep.5 (Lost Generation)

"Staten Island, home of 8,000 Liberian immigrants, might have the largest concentration of child soldiers in North America. US citizens used to see these kids on CNN - carrying a Teddy bear in one hand and an AK-47 in the other- during the Liberian civil war. Ten years later, they observe this lost generation out their window.
This story has no heroes, only survivors."

Big Shout to Gasface on the quote and clip
